Web Conferencing Tutorials

You may be looking for a synchronous way to communicate with your students online. Luckily, there are many different tools available for web conferencing, which make real-time communication with students easy.

Zoom Web and Video Conferencing

Zoom is a cloud video conferencing solution which WSU Global Campus is currently piloting. Zoom provides HD video and voice, and dual-screen content sharing on a variety of devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile. Zoom is available to faculty in 40 minute durations, and may best be utilized in place of, or in addition to, traditional web conferencing or video conferencing tools.

"Many of my online students have been a little older than my on-campus students. They bring a wealth of real-life experience into the classroom, and, because there’s a lot of discussion in my courses, that really enriches the learning experience for all the students."
